Great Location

A perfect oceanfront location to view the beach and ocean from the balcony. We enjoyed being so close to getting on the beach every day very much. We also appreciated that the buildings here at Palms were no more than three floors.
The furnishings are a little dated, but this didn’t really matter to us. It was clean and comfortable.
A couple suggestions would be to note in the description that this unit is on the 3 rd floor and there is no elevator. Being seniors, this was a bit of a challenge to unload and take upstairs all our luggage and go up and down 3 flights of stairs multiple times a day. It would have been helpful to know this in advance and request a second floor unit in the oceanfront buildings.
A suggestion, this, to the owners would be to replace the art work in the bathrooms and hallway with lots more pegs to hang swimsuits, clothing, and towels on.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay, but would find a similar set up oceanfront on no higher than the second floor or that had elevators.

Basic and Very Clean Condo

I have been renting at The Palms and using Benchmark/Garrett for decades. This was the most out-dated unit I have stayed on this property. Benchmark is a wonderful company and helpful when needs arise. However, I am shocked that they represent this unit. The pros of this unit include the cleanliness of the condo and supplies provided in the kitchen. The kitchen and bathroom are in desperate need of updating. The master bath was missing 3 drawers. The shower did not work at first due to algae build-up. Benchmark was diligent and timely in getting it fixed. The master bedroom wicker bed frame had broken pieces. The bed is in desperate need of replacing as well. There is a large lump in the middle. The internet strength is weak; I could only get it to work in the main living area. The plastic chairs on the patio were constantly being blown to one side and on top of each other due to the wind. If you are not concerned about aesthetics and frills, and want a simple condo on the beach, you will have a clean one with this unit.

Although I am still frustrated with being moved from my original reservation in an other location, The rental I was moved to was very clean, very comfortable. Although the pool had limited chairs and small, it was satisfactory. My original had a view of the pool, this condo’s view was limited, but was the acceptable with the hedge. The condo was great with all the spices but no salt and pepper. No ocean front or view. Beach easy to get too. Location was good with a car, right in Seagrove’s quaint area. Two lane road, located right on jogging path. Quiet, small porch area. Comfy condo, pull out, two bunks, one king, two baths..ideal inside.
